Job Title : Azure Synapse SME (Subject Matter Expert). Contract Type : Contract / Freelance. Contract Duration : 3-6 months (Possibility of Extension). Location : Remote. Timings : Initial months : Part-time, 11 PM to 2 AM IST. Later : Full-time, 6 PM to 2 AM IST (8 hours/day). Experience Level : 9Years. Immediate Start. Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Azure Synapse SME to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics and hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and management of data solutions on the Azure platform. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will provide thought leadership, technical expertise, and high-level support for the development and optimization of complex data solutions. Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-based data solutions. - Provide guidance on data architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. - Provide expert advice and hands-on support for the integration of various data sources into Synapse. - Work closely with stakeholders to define and implement scalable, cost-effective cloud data solutions. - Assist in developing best practices and ensure the application of Azure Synapse best practices. - Troubleshoot and optimize queries, pipelines, and other Synapse-related issues. - Document processes, workflows, and system configurations. Requirements : - Minimum 9 years of experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics. - Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, including the management of data pipelines, SQL pools, and data integration. - Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services. - Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, ETL processes, and cloud data solutions. - Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting complex data pipelines and workloads. - Proficient in SQL, Data Warehousing, and Big Data solutions. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup. Preferred Skills : - Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Azure Synapse Analytics. - Experience with Power BI and other Azure analytics tools. - Familiarity with Python or Spark for advanced data processing.
