Job Description

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced L1 Support Engineer with a strong background in service desk operations and desktop support. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Windows environments, Azure L1 support, and Microsoft 365 administration. The role involves providing first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations in a 24x7 environment. Key Responsibilities : - Provide first-level technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals. - Respond to service desk tickets, resolve technical issues, and escalate complex problems as necessary. - Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution related to Windows OS, hardware, networking, and applications. - Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc. - Provide basic support for Azure services, including user management, virtual machines, and identity & access management. - Document incidents, problems, and resolutions in the ITSM system. - Support software installations, updates, and configurations. - Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and request management. - Assist with Active Directory user account management, password resets, and group policies. - Provide end-user support, ensuring users can effectively utilize IT resources and resolve any technical issues. - Work in a rotational night shift as part of a 24x7 IT support team. Job Requirement : Required Skills & Qualifications : - 4 to 7 years of experience in IT support/service desk roles. - Strong Communication skill - Proven experience in end-user support, desktop support, and troubleshooting in a Windows environment. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support. - Basic knowledge of Azure L1 support (user access management, virtual machines, storage, etc. - Strong understanding of IT service desk operations and ticketing tools. - Familiarity with networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc. - Experience working in a night shift or 24x7 support environment. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - IT certifications (such as MCP, ITIL, AZ-900, or M365 Fundamentals) are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
