Visual Basic Developer - Hyland OnBase

Visual Basic / Hyland OnBase are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visual Basic / Hyland OnBase Developer with 5 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Visual Basic Script (VBScript), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C#, coupled with deep expertise in the Hyland OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) system. This role requires a proactive individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment to design, develop, implement, and support OnBase solutions. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement solutions within the Hyland OnBase platform based on business requirements. - Develop and maintain Unity Forms and Unity Scripts to enhance OnBase functionality. - Utilize VB Script, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C# for custom development and integrations within the OnBase environment. - Configure and manage OnBase core modules including Client, Configuration, Web Client, Unity Client, DocPop, FolderPop, Unity Management Console, Workflow Studio, DDS, etc. - Perform configuration tasks for Document Types, Keywords, Document Import Processor (DIP), COLD (Computer Output to Laser Disc), and Scanning functionalities. - Participate in and contribute to OnBase system upgrades. - Work with Hyland APIs and REST APIs to integrate OnBase with other enterprise systems. - Develop, support, and troubleshoot OnBase workflows to automate business processes. - Administer and maintain the Hyland OnBase system, ensuring optimal performance and stability. - Apply strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues related to OnBase. - Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions within OnBase. - Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Adhere to development best practices and coding standards. - Provide technical documentation for developed solutions and configurations. - Stay up-to-date with the latest OnBase features, functionalities, and best practices. Required Skills and Experience : - Minimum of 5 years of overall development experience. - Extensive hands-on experience (5 years) as a Hyland OnBase developer. - Strong proficiency in Hyland OnBase architecture and solution design. - Must have significant development experience in VB Script, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C#. - Proven experience in configuring core OnBase modules such as Client, Config, Web Client, Unity Client, DocPop, FolderPop, Unity Management Console, Workflow Studio, DDS, etc. - Demonstrated ability to develop complex Unity Forms and Unity Scripts. - Hands-on experience with OnBase system upgrades. - Solid understanding and practical experience with Hyland OnBase Integration, Hyland APIs, and REST APIs. - Significant experience in the development and support of OnBase workflows. - In-depth knowledge of Hyland OnBase systems and excellent troubleshooting abilities. - Experience working with OnBase versions 18 and above (desired up to Version EP3). - Strong understanding of document management software and workflow concepts. - In-depth knowledge of relational databases, preferably SQL. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong customer focus. - Experience working within the financial services industry. - Knowledge of WorkView.
