Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer

Required Experience : - Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in the cloud services of AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Proven experience in developing and implementing security baseline documentation for cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP utilizing industry standards like CIS (Center for Internet Security) and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) frameworks. - Excellent knowledge and practical experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Wiz, Sysdig, Tenable Nessus SC, BigFix, Qualys, and Rapid7 Nexpose. - Previous experience in conducting security baseline assessments and vulnerability assessments of IT Infrastructure components, including Cloud environments, Server Operating Systems, Network devices, Databases, and Storage systems. Responsibilities : - Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for our cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Conduct regular security baseline assessments of cloud services against CIS and NIST benchmarks. - Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments of cloud infrastructure components using various scanning tools. - Analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize findings, and work with relevant teams to remediate identified security weaknesses. - Develop and maintain security baseline documentation for cloud services, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements. - Implement and manage security monitoring and alerting solutions for our cloud environments. - Participate in security incident response activities related to cloud infrastructure. - Collaborate with cloud engineering and operations teams to integrate security controls into the cloud deployment and management processes. - Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security threats, trends, and best practices. - Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training related to cloud security. - Participate in security audits and compliance assessments for our cloud environments. - Provide technical guidance and support on cloud security matters to other teams. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. - 5-7 years of relevant experience in Cloud Infrastructure Security. - Strong understanding of cloud security principles, architectures, and best practices for AWS, Azure, and GCP. - In-depth knowledge of security baseline frameworks (CIS, NIST). - Hands-on experience with multiple vulnerability scanning tools (Wiz, Sysdig, Tenable Nessus SC, BigFix, Qualys, Rapid7 Nexpose). - Proven ability to conduct security assessments and analyze security findings. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to 1 work independently and as part of a team. - Relevant security certifications (e.g, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, CISA, CEH) are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
