Python Developer - Django/Flask

Job Description : We are looking for a skilled and security-focused Python Developer with a strong background in web application development, cloud services (AWS), and secure coding practices. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building secure, scalable backend systems while working closely with the DevOps and Security teams to ensure all applications adhere to OWASP standards and best practices in cloud security. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based web applications and RESTful APIs using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django. - Implement and enforce secure coding practices to prevent common vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, and other OWASP Top 10 threats. - Integrate and manage AWS cloud services including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2, IAM, and more. - Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security audits across the full application stack. - Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to maintain a robust cloud security posture and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment. - Monitor, log, and troubleshoot production issues while ensuring high performance and system reliability. - Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, industry trends, and security technologies. Must-Have Skills : - Proficiency in Python and one or more web frameworks: Flask, FastAPI, or Django - Strong understanding of web application security principles and best practices (OWASP Top 10) - Working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, HTTPS, CORS - Hands-on experience with AWS services. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools such as Docker and GitHub Actions - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code in a secure environment. - Experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nikto) - Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack) - Knowledge of zero trust architecture, cloud security frameworks, or SOC 2/ISO 27001 practices Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
