Gloify - Lead PHP Developer - Laravel/CodeIgniter

SKILLS Skills : - 10 Hands- on experience with PHP (CodeIgniter and/or Laravel). - Familiarity with latest PHP concepts and the Laravel framework. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery or other) for front-end development. - Proficiency in CSS for styling web applications. Secondary Skills : - Experience with MySQL for database management and optimization. - Familiarity with AWS services for deploying applications. - Understanding of APIs and Microservices architecture. - Experience with Event Driven design and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies (phpUnit). - Knowledge of Python is a plus. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter and/or Laravel). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Integrate with back-end services and APIs to enhance application functionality. - Manage and maintain MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security. - Implement event-driven architecture and test-driven development practices (phpUnit). - Utilize JavaScript (jQuery or other libraries) and CSS for front-end development. - Work with AWS services to deploy and manage applications in the cloud. - Engage in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
