SAP Data Archiving Consultant - Implementation & Support

About the Role : We are seeking experienced SAP Data Archiving Consultants with a strong SAP Basis background to join our team. This role requires expertise in implementing and supporting SAP data archiving solutions, including lifecycle management tools. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP Basis functionalities and how they relate to data archiving strategies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective data archiving solutions, ensuring compliance and optimizing system : SAP Data Archiving Implementation and Support : - Design and implement comprehensive SAP data archiving strategies and solutions. - Configure and manage SAP archiving objects and processes. - Perform data archiving testing and validation. - Provide ongoing support for SAP data archiving processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve data archiving related issues. SAP Basis Integration : - Integrate data archiving solutions with SAP Basis functionalities. - Manage and optimize SAP system performance related to data archiving. - Perform system health checks and monitoring. - Implement and maintain security protocols related to archived data. - Manage transports related to archiving objects and Management Tool Expertise : - Implement and manage SAP lifecycle management tools for data archiving. - Configure and customize lifecycle management tools to meet business requirements. - Develop and maintain documentation related to lifecycle management processes. Requirement Gathering and Analysis : - Gather and analyze business requirements related to data archiving. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Conduct workshops and presentations to stakeholders. Project Management and Documentation : - Participate in project planning and execution. - Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals. - Ensure compliance with data archiving policies and and Communication : - Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of data archiving solutions. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members. - Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and team members. Required Skills & Qualifications : Experience : - 6 years of experience as an SAP Data Archiving Consultant. - Strong experience with SAP Basis administration. - Proven experience in implementing and supporting SAP data archiving solutions. - Experience with lifecycle management tools. Technical Skills : - Deep understanding of SAP archiving objects and processes. - Strong knowledge of SAP Basis functionalities. - Proficiency in configuring and managing SAP archiving solutions. - Experience with SQL and database administration related to archiving. - Familiarity with SAP security and authorization concepts. - Experience with SAP transport management. Domain Knowledge : - Understanding of data archiving best practices and methodologies. - Knowledge of relevant data archiving regulations and compliance requirements. Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong documentation skills.
