Automation Engineer - Java/AEM

Role Description : As an Automation Engineer with AEM expertise, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our AEM applications. You will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, conducting functional and non-functional testing, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues. Your understanding of AEM authoring and dispatcher validations, along with your automation skills, will be essential for delivering successful projects. Responsibilities : - Gain and maintain a good understanding of the AEM platform, including authoring and dispatcher validations. - Collaborate with AEM developers and content authors to understand system functionalities. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium with TestNG or BDD-Cucumber frameworks. - Design and implement test automation frameworks. - Execute automated test suites and analyze results. - Adhere to good QE practices and processes. - Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability. - Conduct functional testing to ensure applications meet business requirements. - Perform non-functional testing, including performance, security, and usability testing. - Identify and report defects, and track them to resolution. - Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless testing processes. - Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding testing progress and issues. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. - Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Document automation frameworks and processes. Qualifications : Experience : - 2-4 years of experience in automation testing. - Experience with AEM platform testing is highly desirable. Technical Skills : - Good understanding of the AEM platform (authoring and dispatcher validations). - Proficiency in Java and Selenium for test automation. - Experience with TestNG or BDD-Cucumber frameworks. - Good understanding of functional and non-functional testing concepts. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
