.Net/API Developer - Entity Framework

Job Title : .NET API Developer. Experience Level : 5 Years. Location : Hybrid (Work from Home & Onsite as required). Employment Type : Full-Time / Contract. Job Summary : - We are looking for a talented and experienced .NET API Developer to join our dynamic development team. - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing APIs using the . NET framework. - You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web services. - This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a talented team. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web API). - Work closely with business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API specifications and requirements. - Develop and integrate API solutions for both internal and external clients. - Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability. - Implement security best practices to ensure API integrity and data protection. - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with user-facing applications. - Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards. - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem. - Ensure cross-platform compatibility and integration of APIs. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in API development using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API). - Strong experience with RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and versioning strategies. - Proficient in working with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL). - Experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework. - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc. - Ability to work in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban). - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
