.Net Developer - Backend Architecture

Position : .NET Developer Location : Mumbai Experience : 5 Years About the Job : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing and maintaining web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, with a focus on ASP.NET Webforms, C#, and SQL Server. You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance. This role requires a problem-solver with a passion for building robust and scalable applications. Key Responsibilities : Application Development : - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Webforms, C#, and ASP.NET Core. - Implement and maintain robust backend services and APIs. - Develop and integrate third-party APIs as needed. Front-End Development : - Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using jQuery and Bootstrap frameworks. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance. Database Management : - Design and develop SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers. - Write complex T-SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. - Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other techniques. Data Access : - Utilize Entity Framework (EF) and ADO.NET for efficient data access and manipulation. - Implement data access patterns and best practices. Debugging and Troubleshooting : - Debug and resolve complex application issues and bugs in a timely manner. - Conduct thorough unit and integration testing. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Technical Support and Maintenance : - Provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues - Deploy and maintain applications in production environments. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates. - Create and maintain technical documentation. Continuous Learning : - Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and trends. - Proactively seek opportunities to improve skills and knowledge. Required Technical Skills : Programming Languages : - Proficient in C# and ASP.NET Webforms, and Asp.net core. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Knowledge of MVC architecture. Front-End Technologies : - Strong experience with jQuery and Bootstrap for front-end development. - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Database Technologies : - Extensive knowledge of SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Experience with database design and normalization. Data Access Technologies : - Experience with Entity Framework (EF) and ADO.NET for data access. Version Control : - Proficiency in using version control systems like Git. Debugging and Testing : - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Experience with unit testing and integration testing. Other Skills : - Knowledge of Web services (REST, SOAP). - Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Experience Required : - Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Desired Skills (Nice to Have) : - Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of design patterns. - Experience with Agile development methodologies.
