Python Automation Test Engineer - API Testing

Location : Devanahalli, Bangalore Work Mode : Work from Office Shift timing : 1PM-10PM Cab facility available Job Description : As an API Automation Tester using Python, you'll design, develop, and execute automated API tests, identifying and resolving issues, while collaborating with developers and QA teams to ensure API quality and performance. Responsibilities : - Design and Develop API Test Cases: - Create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts to thoroughly validate API functionality and performance. Automate API Tests : - Utilize Python and relevant libraries/frameworks (e.g., Requests, pytest, unittest) to automate API test execution. Execute and Analyze Test Results : - Run automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement. Identify, Document, and Track Bugs : - Document and track identified issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : - Work closely with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure API quality and meet project requirements. Improve Testing Processes: - Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies and processes. Participate in Code Reviews : - Review code for API implementations and test scripts, providing feedback and suggestions. Ensure APIs Meet Requirements : - Verify that APIs adhere to functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security). Report on Test Results : - Generate reports summarizing test results, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
