Oracle FCCS Developer/Lead - Implementation & Support

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle FCCS Developer/Lead to join our finance technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) solutions. You will lead the development efforts, ensuring efficient and accurate financial consolidation and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle FCCS, strong development skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality financial solutions. Responsibilities : Oracle FCCS Development and Implementation : - Design, develop, and implement Oracle FCCS applications to meet business requirements. - Configure and customize FCCS dimensions, forms, rules, and calculations. - Develop and maintain data integration processes between FCCS and other systems. - Implement and manage metadata and security configurations. - Develop and optimize financial consolidation and reporting processes. FCCS Application Maintenance and Support : - Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle FCCS applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve FCCS issues and errors. - Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations. - Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation. Data Integration and Management : - Design and implement data integration processes using FDMEE/Data Management. - Develop and maintain data mappings and transformations. - Ensure data quality and consistency within FCCS. - Manage data loads and reconciliations. Solution Design and Architecture : - Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions. - Develop technical specifications and documentation. - Design and implement scalable and maintainable FCCS architectures. - Provide technical guidance and support to other developers. Testing and Quality Assurance : - Develop and execute test plans for FCCS configurations and customizations. - Perform unit, integration, and system testing. - Ensure the quality and reliability of FCCS solutions. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Project Leadership and Management (Lead Role) : - Lead and manage FCCS development projects from initiation to completion. - Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Manage project risks and issues. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with finance teams, IT teams, and other stakeholders. - Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely. - Provide training and support to end-users. - Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices. Continuous Learning : - Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle FCCS technologies and trends. - Research and evaluate new tools and technologies. - Participate in training and professional development activities. Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience : - 8 years of experience in Oracle FCCS development and implementation. - Proven experience in configuring and customizing Oracle FCCS. - Strong experience with FDMEE/Data Management. - Experience with data integration and migration. - Experience with financial consolidation and reporting processes. Technical Skills : - Expert knowledge of Oracle FCCS architecture and development. - Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting concepts. - Experience with FDMEE/Data Management and data integration tools. - Knowledge of SQL and database management. - Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g, Groovy, Jython) is a plus. - Understanding of EPM cloud architecture. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
