Python Developer - Backend Technologies

Role : Software Development Engineer (Backend). Location : Mumbai, Gurgaon. Experience : 3 to 8 Years. Responsibility:. Build Stuff : - Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Python/Django and Java/Spring Boot. Own It : - Take end-to-end ownership of features, from design to deployment. Solve Problems : - Work with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to make sure we're building things the right way. Optimize Everything : - Improve database performance, API response times, and overall system efficiency. Innovate : - Introduce new ideas, tools, and best practices to keep our stack modern and our engineers happy. What You Bring : - Strong experience in Python (Django) and Java (Spring Boot). - Solid understanding of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc - we're flexible, but you should know your way around indexes and queries). - Experience building products from the ground up and re-architecting bad designs. - Knowledge of scalability, performance tuning, and security best practices. - Experience working in product-based companies (startups or big tech - we like both). - Comfortable with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure; we are currently on Azure though). - Love for clean code, design patterns, and best practices. - Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-moving team. Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points) : - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Contributions to open-source projects. - Side projects that showcase your skills. (ref:hirist.tech)
