Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our SAP practice, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and hands-on support in the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP FICO solutions. This is a 100% remote opportunity, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the world. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, along with proven experience in integrating FICO with other SAP modules. Responsibilities : - Lead and participate in SAP FICO implementation and support projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support. - Configure and customize SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Taxation, and Cash Management, to meet business requirements. - Configure and customize SAP CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Costing (PC), Profitability Analysis (PA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA), to meet business requirements. - Design and implement integration solutions between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP). - Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials. - Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users. - Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO related issues, providing timely and effective solutions. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and other SAP consultants. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP FICO trends, technologies, and best practices. - Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of best practices within the SAP team. - Potentially mentor junior consultants and contribute to their growth. Required Skills and Experience : - Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and support. - Proven expertise in configuring and customizing SAP FI modules : - General Ledger (GL) - Chart of Accounts, Posting Periods, Document Types, etc. - Accounts Payable (AP) - Vendor Master, Invoice Processing, Payment Runs, etc. - Accounts Receivable (AR) - Customer Master, Invoice Processing, Dunning, etc. - Asset Accounting (AA) - Asset Classes, Depreciation, Asset Transactions, etc. - Taxation - Tax Procedures, Tax Codes, Reporting. - Cash Management - Bank Master Data, Cash Journal, Bank Reconciliation. - Strong understanding of configuring and customizing SAP CO modules : - Cost Center Accounting (CCA) - Cost Centers, Activity Types, Allocations. - Internal Orders (IO) - Order Types, Budgeting, Settlement. - Product Costing (PC) - Material Costing, Standard Cost, Variance Analysis. - Profitability Analysis (PA) - CO-PA, Margin Analysis. - Profit Center Accounting (PCA). - Experience with SAP integration between FICO and other modules like MM (Procure-to-Pay), SD (Order-to-Cash), and PP (Plan-to-Produce). - Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and management accounting concepts. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business users and technical teams. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in English (written and verbal). - Must be able to join within a 1-month notice period. Preferred Skills and Experience : - Experience with S/4HANA Finance. - Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to Finance and Controlling. - Experience with SAP reporting tools (e.g., SAP Query, Report Painter/Writer). - Understanding of ABAP debugging and basic ABAP knowledge. - Experience with project management methodologies. - Relevant SAP certifications in FICO.
