The Role : We are in search of a proactive Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about harnessing data to fuel business growth, optimize operational processes, and drive organizational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical capabilities, extensive experience in Looker and DBT (Data Build Tool), and a proven track record of transforming raw data into sophisticated visualizations and data models that drive tangible business outcomes. Responsibilities : Data Analysis and Visualization : - Leverage advanced features of Looker and dbt to develop sophisticated and dynamic charts, dashboards, and predictive models that provide deep insights into key business metrics and trends. - Identify and analyze complex data patterns and anomalies to uncover actionable insights and strategic opportunities for business optimization and growth. - Partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand their unique data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions that meet their evolving needs. Data Management And Modeling : - Lead efforts in collecting, cleansing, and transforming data from diverse sources using dbt to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability for advanced analytics and modeling purposes. - Develop and maintain robust data models and schemas in dbt that serve as the foundation for comprehensive data analysis and reporting across the organization. Collaboration And Communication : - Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand their analytical needs, provide expert guidance on data-related matters, and drive data-driven decision-making processes. - Effectively communicate complex analytical findings, data-driven recommendations, and strategic insights to technical and non-technical audiences through compelling presentations, reports, and interactive data visualizations. Continuous Learning And Innovation : - Stay abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in Looker, dbt, and data analytics methodologies, and proactively incorporate emerging trends and technologies into our analytical practices. - Solicit and incorporate feedback from peers and stakeholders to continually enhance the quality, efficiency, and impact of our data analytics initiatives. Ideal Profile : Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Looker, LookML and dbt to deliver advanced analytics solutions. - Expertise in SQL and proficiency in working with relational databases; experience with cloud-based data warehouses (i.e., BigQuery, Snowflake) is highly desirable. - Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights and recommendations. - Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for diverse audiences. - Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Mode Analytics is a plus.
