Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities : - Develop comprehensive project plans for technical projects, including detailed timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, emphasizing technical dependencies and complexities. - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational technical goals and stakeholder requirements. - Establish and maintain project governance structures and processes, with a focus on technical decision-making. - Create and manage detailed technical project schedules, ensuring realistic timelines and milestones, accounting for technical dependencies. - Monitor project progress, identify potential technical delays, and implement corrective actions. - Utilize project management tools to track and report on technical schedule performance. - Ensure technical project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications, including code quality, system performance, and security requirements. - Implement quality control processes and conduct regular technical reviews to ensure project success. - Manage and track technical project documentation. - Serve as the primary point of contact for technical project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations. - Prepare and present detailed technical project reports, including progress, risks, and issues. - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among technical project team members and stakeholders. - Lead and motivate technical project teams, providing guidance and mentorship, particularly in technical areas. - Assign technical tasks, monitor performance, and ensure efficient task completion. - Foster a collaborative and high-performing technical team environment. - Manage technical project budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated resources and controlling expenses. - Optimize technical resource utilization and identify cost-saving opportunities. - Forecast and track technical project expenses. - Identify and assess technical project risks and develop mitigation strategies. - Proactively address technical project issues and resolve conflicts. - Document and track all technical project risks and issues. - Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve project efficiency and technical outcomes. - Assist in the implementation and integration of new technologies into project workflows. - Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices. Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience : - 8-10 years of proven experience in project management, with a strong focus on technical projects. - Experience working with software development teams, infrastructure projects, or similar technical environments. Certifications : - PMP Certification is highly preferred. - Any relevant technical certifications are a plus. Skills : - Strong business acumen and strategic thinking in project planning and management. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, particularly in technical contexts. - Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. - Proven ability to lead and motivate technical project teams. - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - Strong technical understanding of relevant technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
