Job Description
Job Title: Discrete Event Simulation Exp: 3-7 years Location: Chennai Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Discrete Event Simulation Specialist with 3-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing simulation models that analyze and optimize various operational processes. This role requires a deep understanding of discrete event simulation techniques, as well as strong analytical and programming skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive decision-making and improve system : - Develop and implement discrete event simulation models to analyze complex systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate model representation. - Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of different variables on system performance. - Prepare detailed documentation of simulation models and results for stakeholders. - Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. - Continuously improve simulation methodologies and tools based on industry best practices. Skills and Qualifications - Proven experience in simulation modelling, preferably using Any Logic or other digital twin / simulation software. - Strong programming skills in Java, (as Any Logic is based on Java ). - Familiarity with agent-based, discrete-event, and system dynamicsmodeling approaches. - Experience with data visualization and reporting tools. - Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data processing techniques. - Excellent creativity in designing (Simulation Model), problem-solving andanalytical skills.
