Key Responsibilities : - Automation & Infrastructure Management : Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability. - Cloud Management : Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) including provisioning, scaling, and securing resources. - Monitoring & Performance Optimization : Set up comprehensive monitoring solutions (e.g, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to track system performance, availability, and health. - Configuration Management : Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to maintain consistency across environments. - Collaboration & Continuous Improvement : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment cycles and rapid issue resolution. - Version Control & Deployment : Use Git, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools to automate the deployment process and manage version control workflows. - Security & Compliance : Implement security best practices, including managing secrets, vulnerability assessments, and enforcing compliance policies. - Troubleshooting : Investigate production issues and work collaboratively to resolve incidents and minimize downtime. - Documentation & Best Practices : Maintain clear and thorough documentation for system architecture, processes, and troubleshooting guides. - Promote best practices for DevOps culture within the organization. Qualifications : Experience : 4-5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar role. Technical Skills : - Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). - Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) - Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) - Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). - Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.) - Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git). - Operating Systems : Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and familiarity with Windows environments. - Scripting & Programming : Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.) - Security : Understanding of network security principles and best practices. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Strong attention to detail and proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with microservices architecture. - Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with serverless technologies (e.g, AWS Lambda). - Experience with database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira.
