Workday Business Analyst

Job Title : Workday Business Analyst (Remote) Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of experience in business systems analysis, with a strong emphasis on Workday Financials. You will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing our Workday Financials platform, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with relevant regulations. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. Responsibilities : Workday Financials Support and Optimization : - Provide expert-level support for Workday Financials, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues. - Analyze, configure, and maintain Workday Financials modules to optimize system performance and user experience. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions. - Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials. Business Process Management : - Analyze and optimize core financial processes within Workday, specifically Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Order to Cash (O2C) cycles. - Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains. - Implement best practices and ensure process standardization across the organization. Reporting and Analytics : - Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports, including standard, matrix, and composite reports, to meet business intelligence needs. - Utilize Workday reporting tools to create dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights. - Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in reporting. Compliance and Governance : - Ensure Workday Financials configurations and processes comply with SOX regulations and internal control policies. - Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support. - Maintain a strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, IT, and other stakeholders. - Communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Provide training and support to end-users on Workday Financials functionality. Qualifications : - Experience : 8-10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a focus on Workday. Workday Expertise : - Deep understanding of Workday Financials modules and functionalities. - Strong knowledge of R2R, P2P, and O2C business processes within Workday. - Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and report development. Business Acumen : - Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting. - Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and internal controls. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. - Ability to analyze complex business problems and propose effective solutions. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Communication and Interpersonal Skills : - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. Preferred Skills : - Experience with Salesforce, RevPro, and Adaptive Insights. - Experience with other enterprise-level systems. - Project management experience. - Experience working in a global organization. - Workday Financials certification.
