CPQ Developer - Salesforce Platform

Job Title : CPQ Developer (CPQ Apex, Agile Jira) Location : Remote Experience : 6 years (Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in Salesforce CPQ) Shift Timings : 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST Interviews : 3 Rounds (2 Internal Technical Interviews 1 Client Interview) Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPQ Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will leverage your deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Agile methodologies, and Jira to deliver high-quality solutions that meet complex business requirements. Key Responsibilities : - CPQ Solution Design and Implementation : Lead the design, configuration, customization, and implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices. - Apex Development and Customization : Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and APIs to extend Salesforce and CPQ functionalities. - Lightning Web Components (LWC) Development : Develop and customize user interfaces and enhance user experience within the CPQ environment using Lightning Web Components, leveraging a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience. - Agile Project Management and Collaboration : Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, utilize Jira for task management, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of development tasks. - Process Automation and Workflow Development : Design and implement workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and other automation tools within Salesforce CPQ to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency. - Third-Party Integration : Design and develop integrations between Salesforce CPQ and various third-party systems, utilizing REST and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. - Code Quality and Best Practices : Adhere to best practices for coding, documentation, testing, and performance optimization. Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Testing and Debugging : Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests, perform thorough troubleshooting, and debug complex issues to ensure the stability and reliability of the CPQ solution. - Collaboration and Communication : Effectively communicate technical solutions and challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and client teams throughout the project lifecycle. - Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest Salesforce CPQ features, functionalities, and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing solutions and implement new features. - Technical Documentation : Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for all developed solutions, configurations, and integrations. Required Skills & Experience : Primary Skills (Mandatory) : - Salesforce CPQ Expertise : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and implementing Salesforce CPQ (formerly SteelBrick). Deep understanding of CPQ objects, pricing rules, product rules, quote templates, and advanced configurations. - Apex Development : Minimum 3 years of experience in developing custom solutions using Apex programming language, including classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous Apex. - Agile Methodologies : Strong understanding and practical experience working within Agile development methodologies (e.g, Scrum, Kanban). - Jira Proficiency : Hands-on experience using Jira for task management, bug tracking, sprint planning, and collaboration within an Agile environment. Secondary Skills (Preferred) : - Lightning Web Components (LWC) : 3 years of proven experience in developing and customizing user interfaces using Lightning Web Components. - Salesforce Certifications : Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II certifications are highly desirable. - API Integrations : Hands-on experience with integrating Salesforce CPQ with external systems using REST and SOAP web services. - SOQL and SOSL : Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SOQL and SOSL queries for data retrieval and manipulation within the Salesforce platform. - Web Services : Experience with consuming and developing RESTful and SOAP-based web services. - Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab. - Testing Frameworks : Experience with Salesforce testing frameworks and methodologies. - Understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and best practices for writing efficient code.
