SAC Native Planning Consultant

Title : SAC Native Planning Consultant Stalwart Innovations is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Native Planning Consultant to join our growing team. If you have 5-6 years of expertise in SAC Planning (excluding live planning) and a strong understanding of headcount & expense planning, wed love to connect with you Location : Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad (Hybrid/Remote options available) Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement SAC Native Planning solutions. - Work with SAC Planning models, including data locking, allocations, version management, data actions, and multi-actions. - Ensure seamless integration of SAC Planning applications with SAP BW, including data import/export. - Follow SDLC processes, including change management and transport best practices. - Optimize headcount and expense planning workflows in collaboration with stakeholders. - Provide technical guidance and best practices for SAC planning configuration, implementation, and performance tuning. Qualifications & Requirements : - 5-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning. Expertise in : - Planning Models - Data Locking & Allocations - Version Management - Data Actions & Multi-Actions - Strong functional knowledge of headcount and expense planning. - Prior experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) is a plus. - Basic proficiency in JavaScript is desirable. - Experience with SAC Planning application integration with SAP BW (Import/Export). - Familiarity with SDLC best practices, including change management and transport processes. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Education : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field. Detailed Technical Job Description : As a SAC Native Planning Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and support of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions. Your primary focus will be on designing and building planning models, optimizing planning processes, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP systems, particularly SAP BW. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, provide expert guidance on best practices, and deliver solutions that meet their specific needs. Key Responsibilities : Solution Design and Implementation : - Design, develop, and implement SAC Native Planning solutions, including planning models, data entry forms, and reports. - Configure SAC Planning functionalities to meet client-specific requirements, including data locking, allocations, version management, data actions, and multi-actions. - Develop and maintain technical documentation related to SAC Planning solutions. SAP BW Integration : - Design and implement data integration scenarios between SAC Planning and SAP BW. - Develop data import/export processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy. - Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues. Planning Process Optimization : - Analyze existing planning processes and identify areas for improvement. - Design and implement optimized planning workflows, with a focus on headcount and expense planning. - Develop and implement planning logic using data actions, calculations, and scripting. Technical Guidance and Best Practices : - Provide technical guidance and best practices for SAC Planning configuration, implementation, and performance tuning. - Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients on SAC Planning functionalities. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAC Planning features and updates. SDLC Adherence : - Follow SDLC processes, including change management and transport best practices, to ensure the quality and stability of SAC Planning solutions. - Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and test plans. - Participate in code reviews and testing activities. Qualifications & Requirements : Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field. Experience : 5-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, with a focus on native planning (excluding live planning). SAC Planning Expertise : - Deep understanding of SAC Planning concepts, including planning models, data locking, allocations, version management, data actions, and multi-actions. - Strong experience in designing and building complex planning models. - Proficiency in using SAC Planning tools and functionalities. SAP BW Integration Skills : - Experience with integrating SAC Planning with SAP BW. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling in SAP BW. - Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Functional Knowledge : Strong functional knowledge of headcount and expense planning processes. SAP BPC Knowledge : Prior experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) is a plus. Scripting Skills : Basic proficiency in JavaScript for scripting in SAC Planning. SDLC and Best Practices : Familiarity with SDLC best practices, including change management and transport processes.
