Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities - Develop and maintain C++ applications for the WLP FO payments processing platform - Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and QA Engineers to ensure seamless delivery - Write clean, efficient, and scalable code with strong adherence to quality standards - Design, develop, and execute robust unit tests using GTEST - Conduct code reviews and participate in quality assessments - Maintain and enhance existing systems and applications - Create and maintain detailed documentation for software components - Mentor and support junior developers through technical guidance and and Qualifications Required - 15 years of experience in software development - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Expert-level proficiency in C++ with a strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture - Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like GTEST - Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Unix/Linux systems - Strong working knowledge of Oracle/Postgres databases, SQL, and data modeling - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira - Experience working in CI/CD environments and applying DevOps practices - Previous exposure to the Payments domain is highly desirable - Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) - A T-shaped mindset with deep technical expertise and broad knowledge in related domains - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring to Have - Experience with cloud technologies - Background in DevOps and continuous integration - Exposure to payment processing systems or related financial technology platforms (ref:hirist.tech)
