Worldline - Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Job Description - Design and develop modern, scalable Java/J2EE applications using industry best practices. - Collaborate with a global team of technologists on application architecture and feature development. - Lead development initiatives with innovation and strong ownership. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables. - Be part of a Fully Responsible Agile Team managing the complete development lifecycle from Dev, Unit Testing, CI/CD, to production maintenance. - Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 and Java 11 enterprise application development. - Proficiency in J2EE, JPA, Hibernate 5, and EJB. - Good understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST web services. - Preferably from the card/payments domain. - Familiarity with design patterns, unit testing (JUnit), and integration testing. - Solid experience with Oracle and PL/SQL. - Working knowledge of Linux and basic shell scripting. - Front-end exposure with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus. - Experience with full lifecycle systems development, deployment, and enhancements. - Experience with tools and technologies like: - Git, GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube, SoapUI, Postman - JBOSS 7.4, Developer Studio Eclipse / IntelliJ - Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST API, Web Services - Exposure to distributed agile development models and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework / Microservices - Familiarity with Tapestry Framework - Exposure to cloud technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
