Senior C++ Application Developer

Worldline is a global leader in the payments technology space, powering commerce across all continents. We are looking for a Senior C++ Application Developer to join our Core Acquiring Tribe in Pune. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for building scalable, high-performance software solutions in the payments domain. Roles and Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain software solutions for processing electronic payments using the Worldline Pay Front Office suite. - Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to gather and align on functional requirements. - Plan and coordinate development activities with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and fellow developers. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C++ code. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases. - Analyze test results and make necessary code adjustments. - Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables. - Maintain and upgrade existing systems and implement customer-specific enhancements. - Document software functionalities and changes for ongoing maintenance. - Mentor and guide junior developers within the team. Skills and Qualifications Required - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Proficient in object-oriented programming with C++. - Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling. - Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and working in a continuous development environment. - Familiarity with Git, UNIX, and Agile methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and flexible mindset. - Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written). - Ability to work effectively in an international, scaled agile setup. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) - Experience with Docker and containerization. - Exposure to Cloud technologies and DevOps practices. - Previous experience in electronic payments, especially in Acceptance/Acquiring or Issuing domains. - Proven ability to mentor and support junior team members.
