Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Flow Chemistry Specialist to join our Flow Chemistry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing continuous flow chemistry processes to support our research and manufacturing goals. Key responsibilities: Develop and optimize flow chemistry processes for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates; Design and implementation of flow reactor systems, including material selection and component testing; Conduct practical experiments and demonstrate a strong understanding of organic chemistry and flow chemistry principles; Support the scale-up and technical transfer of flow chemistry processes to commercial manufacturing in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing operations; Stay updated on the latest literature and advancements in continuous manufacturing and serve as the primary contact for academic and commercial flow laboratories and equipment manufacturers. Represent the company at symposiums and conventions to increase the company’s knowledge base and profile; Help R&D chemists understand continuous manufacturing processes and equipment and act as a technical expert within Flow Chemistry for the function. Requirements: PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or chemical engineering, or related fields; Strong knowledge of reaction engineering, including reaction kinetics and fluid dynamics; At least 3 years of experience in flow chemistry process development and scale-up, preferably in industrial settings. Technical and Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently; Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to work effectively in a diverse and collaborative team environment.
