The Role We are seeking an Optical Engineer with a solid background in laser physics and optical setups to join our technical team . In this role, you will work on laser system development , optical experiments , and laser-material interaction processes, assisting with the setup and optimization of our laser systems in the lab. Key Responsibilities Set up and maintain optical systems for laser experiments and micromachining applications. Work with the team to optimize laser parameters and ensure system performance. Assist in the design and implementation of laser experiments , ensuring precise control of parameters such as pulse duration, energy, and wavelength. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser systems and optical setups . Support experiments related to laser-material interactions , focusing on optimizing processes for precision micromachining. Collaborate with senior engineers and scientists to refine laser processing techniques . Laboratory Work & Team Collaboration Work hands-on in the laboratory environment , ensuring optimal operation of equipment and systems. Provide technical support to the team on laser-related projects. Maintain accurate records of experiments and results to document progress and findings. What We’re Looking For Technical Skills Degree in Physics, Engineering (Optics, Photonics) or related field. Strong understanding of laser physics , optical systems , and laser-material interaction . Hands-on experience with optical setups and laser laboratory work (1-2 years of experience). Familiarity with laser systems , optics, and precision equipment used in a laboratory setting. Experience with laser alignment, optical bench setups , and troubleshooting. Personal & Soft Skills Passionate about laser technology and optical sciences . Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Team player who is eager to contribute and learn in a collaborative environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
