PHP WordPress Developer

Client & Project Overview: We are partnering with a global B2B information group based in the UK, specializing in private equity, real estate, debt, infrastructure, and agricultural investing. The project is divided into three main areas: Expansion of existing solutions for subscription sites and events New initiatives and projects, including the R&A database and DPD/New sites Support & maintenance Candidates will join one of these areas and work closely with a dynamic team of 30 members, including experts in Node.js, WordPress, Front-End, QA, Solution Architecture, and Team Leadership. Main Responsibilities: Collaborating with the team during the planning stages and executing assigned tasks Creating and updating technical documentation Writing unit tests to ensure new features are covered Following the release process and ensuring quality standards Cooperating with cross-functional team members, including Business Analysts, Product Managers, Project Managers, DevOps, and the Head of Technology Actively participating in SCRUM ceremonies, including Stand-ups, Planning, Retrospectives, and Refinements Estimating tasks in Story Points during sprint planning Required Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress Experience with AWS Knowledge of TDD/Unit Testing Proficiency in Git for version control Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Intermediate proficiency in English (B2) Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Independent, self-motivated, and proactive approach Technology Stack: WordPress Node.js (Backend) React/Aurelia (Frontend) AWS (Cloud Infrastructure) TestCafe (Automated End-to-End Testing Tool) XRay (Test Case Management Tool) Docker Gitlab (CI/CD) Jira (Project Management) Confluence (Documentation) Slack (Communication) Zoom (Video Calls) Working Environment: Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Polish Time) Remote work with occasional video meetings via Zoom Long-term cooperation is preferred, with team composition being reviewed regularly based on the client’s new initiatives This position is ideal for a motivated, team-oriented developer who enjoys collaborating in a fast-paced SCRUM environment and working on cutting-edge projects in a global business context.
