Piping & Layout Engineer Electrolysis

Key responsibilities Prepare Offers for piping scope, including man-hour estimation, material quantities, and scope definition. Piping and Plant Layout Studies and Piping Detail Design. Piping 3D Modelling and Creation of Piping MTO Reports. Develop Plot Plans, Equipment Arrangements, Piping Arrangements, and Isometric Drawings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process, Static, PU's, Structural, Civil, Material Management). Review Vendor Documentation related to Piping and Plant Layout design. Perform 3D Model Project Reviews and provide technical feedback. Conduct Site Visits for on-site measurements and review. Supervise Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-up activities for global customers. Ideal candidate profile 7 years of experience as a Piping Designer/Engineer. Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred). Basic knowledge of Stress Engineering and Material Engineering. Strong understanding of engineering documents and material supply according to contract requirements. Ability to work independently in preparing technical documentation and project deliverables. Ability to provide realistic and reliable forecasts regarding man-hours, quantities, and costs. Fluent in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus. Willingness to travel for short and long-term assignments (1-3 months) for commissioning and start-up activities. High interpersonal skills and experience in working within a multi-cultural team. Proficiency with CAD Software: AutoCAD, MicroStation. Experience with 3D Modelling & Pipeline Design using Smart Plant 3D is highly preferred. Knowledge of industry standards in piping design, fluid mechanics, and pipeline hydraulics. Solid experience with piping analysis and material selection tailored to industrial projects.
