Cloud Infrastructure DBA Miejsce pracy: Katowice Technologies we use Expected PostgreSQL AWS Python Linux Terraform Ansible Operating system Windows Linux About the project Technologies used in our team: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Kafka, PostgreSQL, VictoriaMetrics, Hashicorp stack, Gitlab, Nexus Metodology - Agile management: Kanban, Issue tracking tool: Jira, Knowledge repository: Confluence, Virtualization: Docker, Provisioning: Terraform, Cloud infrastructure: AWS, Operating system: Linux, Security, Application stack: Python, Version control system, Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL Your responsibilities Administering and managing existing database clusters and individual databases (using Iaac tools like Terraform). Designing database structures and collaborating with other teams to achieve technical alignment. Building and setting up new database clusters. Implementing backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for database systems. Creating and maintaining technical and non-technical documentation for database systems and related tooling. Serving as the liaison between development teams and Infrastructure. Mediating and advising on the division of responsibilities between infrastructure and application layers. Our requirements Strong knowledge and practical experience as an administrator (DBA) with PostgreSQL. Working knowledge of AWS, sufficient for efficient day-to-day operations. Basic knowledge of Python, or a willingness to learn the basics. A solid foundational understanding of Linux. Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
