Quality Assurance Engineer (mobile apps) Miejsce pracy: Zielona Góra Technologies we use Expected Appium Python JavaScript TypeScript Android iOS Optional Android Studio Android Xcode Jira Confluence Docker Ansible About the project We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who will join our QA & Security team, where we ensure the highest quality of our enterprise-class products. Working with video content and network data presents unique and exciting opportunities. Are you ready to take them on? Your responsibilities Test and verify ADB software quality using both manual and automated tests (including the development of automated tests, which accounts about 20% of your working time), Perform functional and non-functional tests (e.g. security or performance) of mobile applications, Review requirements, analyze functionality, and adjust test plans accordingly, Develop test scripts and manage test environment, Report test results and defects found, Spend about 5% of your working time on developing your skills and competencies, Closely collaborate with your team and software departments (mainly mobile apps developers), Share knowledge and expertise with the team. Our requirements Autonomy backed by professional experience (3 years) in testing Android/ iOS mobile applications, including mobile test automation and tools like Appium (obligatory), Solid knowledge of mobile applications testing methods including functional, non-functional, regression, exploratory, security, and performance testing, Hands-on experience with test management tools (TestLink) and set up and managing related test environments, Ability to adjust test plans and effectively report issues, Basics to intermediate skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript scripting; Familiarity with Git/ Gerrit, Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture, Strong interpersonal skills and ease in building relationships across teams, A sense of ownership, a goal-oriented mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving, Self-development focus – we want to help you grow by giving you support and the opportunity to find your way to success, English & Polish language skills – ADB is an international company and our language is English; the closest team communicates in Polish. Optional Experience with Android Studio, Android Logcat, Xcode, Jira/ Confluence, Understanding of REST APIs and hands-on experience using them in automated tests, Knowledge of CI/CD processes and integration of automated tests in pipeline (Jenkins), Basics of DevOps (Docker/ Docker Swarm, Ansible).
