Infotainment Software Engineer with Android/BSP Miejsce pracy: Wrocław Technologies we use Expected C Android Git Gerrit Jira UML Enterprise Architect About the project The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii, that brings together over 500 specialists in the field of embedded systems. Currently, we are looking for a Software Engineer (Android/BSP) to join our team. In this position, you will work for one of our client in the Automotive industry. Join us and work while learning and developing yourself on projects that impact our communities and society Your responsibilities Design and own Android software architecture and design for infotainment systems Translate customer/system requirements into technical specifications and design documents Participate in design reviews and drive resolution of complex technical challenges Develop reusable software components and integrate emerging technologies Performance optimization of infotainment systems on new SoC (System-on-Chip) architectures Align product roadmaps with Android Automotive OS advancements and market trends Act as the primary technical contact for internal teams, customers, and suppliers Support business development efforts and customer engagements Address systemic software issues and ensure compliance with KPIs/certifications Our requirements At least 3 years in Android development (Application, Services, HAL, BSP) and Android Automotive OS Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems Advanced knowledge of Android BSP and performance optimization techniques Practical familiarity with Android development tools (NDK, AOSP) Understanding of OTA (Over-the-Air) update mechanisms Experience with automotive infotainment technologies: Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi, Tuner/Media systems In-depth understanding of automotive infotainment architectures and ECU communication Knowledge of secure coding principles compliant with MISRA standards Familiarity with Android Automotive trends, certification standards (CTS/VTS), and ASPICE processes Experience with Android Studio, GIT, Gerrit, JIRA, Polarion, Coverity, UML/Enterprise Architect Ability to Agile development, requirement traceability, and testing frameworks (Google Test, JUnit, Mockito) Analytical & troubleshooting capabilities and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration What we offer Great Place to Work since 2015 - it’s thanks to feedback from our workers that we get this special title and constantly implement new ideas Employment stability - revenue of PLN 2.1BN, no debts, since 2006 on the market We share the profit with Workers - over PLN 60M has already been allocated for this aim since 2022 Attractive benefits package - private healthcare, benefits cafeteria platform, car discounts and more Comfortable workplace – class A offices or remote work Dozens of fascinating projects for prestigious brands from all over the world – you can change them thanks to Job Changer application PLN 1 000 000 per year for your ideas - with this amount, we support the passions and voluntary actions of our workers Investment in your growth – meetups, webinars, training platform and technology blog – you choose Fantastic atmosphere created by all Sii Power People Recruitment stages Send your CV Talk to us about your expectations Learn more about our projects and choose the best Start your adventure with Sii Sii Sp. z o.o.
