Job Description

Role Description Skills: • Lead E2E products development using PHP (hands-on), maintenance, production support, and stakeholder management. • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Knowledge of Python is an advantage. • Build and deploy applications using Google Cloud Platform (App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery). • Collaborate with the team to manage and improve infrastructure using Terraform. • Manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews using GitLab. • Ensure high-quality software through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement. • Lead exciting and complex end-to-end projects and ensure Service Level Agreements are delivered on. Define and develop solutions to complex problems that arise ensuring standards are fully met and best practice is adhered to. • Lead on new solutions. Gather input, feedback and requirements from key stakeholders within Engineering and Product Management and define the platform/ component roadmap for specific projects. Influence the team software architecture as required. • Hands-on experience - develop and deploy complex applications, components, software, platforms or services that are used at scale and contribute to significant performance or business value (e.g. core components that are used across teams, POCs,…). • Create clear standards, tools and technical guidelines in line with the department’s strategy, policies and client obligations. • Manage internal and external technical stakeholders including product owners, commercial and business stakeholders and product consumers. • Knowledge of functional & non-functional testing and deployment methods from conception to production. • Manage risk effectively, provide visible and consistent leadership on Values and Code of Business Conduct and act where you see issues. • Senior experience, designing and architecting enterprise applications based on microservices. • Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal customers and cross-functional teams. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into layman’s terms for non-technical stakeholders. • A proactive problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Inspire engineers throughout the organization, providing deep expertise, thought leadership, expert advice and guidance to resolve specific challenges. Designing and architecting enterprise applications based on microservices.
