Job Description

Educational Background/Work experience Relevant certification within finance / accounting will be advantageous, not compulsory. Having a background in logistics would be advantageous. Experience in international trade is essential. Experience in shipchandling would also be beneficial. Job responsibilities Enter quotes in client systems & internal ERP. Review supplier proposals for compliance with client requirements. Verify the currency to be used and apply selected tariffs. Transmit quotes to the account manager and upload to relevant systems. Communicate closely with the Commercial Manager on anomalies and applications. Validate client orders upon receipt. Process orders to invoicing for both suppliers and clients in ERP. Skills & Competencies Knowledge of international trade techniques Fluent in English, French and/or Portuguese will be an advantage Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and ERP systems Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail Capable of multitasking and performing well under pressure Organized, responsive, thorough, and adaptable Excellent communication skills and ability to take initiative Interested in professional growth within an international group of companies
