We are looking for a Head of finance who will be a key partner to the CEO/founder, responsible for both financial management and operational efficiency. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on financial operations, ensuring that financial processes run smoothly and support the company’s continued growth. The company operates in the field of payroll and immigration services, handling financial processes for both corporate and individual clients. The head of finance will lead our financial team and shall oversee ongoing financial operations, manage budgeting, reporting, and cash flow, and ensure compliance with Dutch tax and labor regulations. The role also involves improving internal processes and supporting cross-department collaboration to streamline financial operations. What you will be busy with: Managing financial flows, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the company's financial stability Overseeing financial reporting and analysis, providing insights for business decisions. Structuring and optimizing financial processes, including external transactions and internal workflows Ensuring compliance with Dutch tax, payroll, and immigration-related financial regulations Improving interaction between finance and other teams, making processes smoother and more efficient Building financial expertise in Dutch payroll and immigration legislation to align financial planning with business needs Managing a finance team of two internal specialists, with external consultants engaged when necessary Setting up and maintaining a structured financial system as the company grows into a multi-entity structure What will help you succeed: A hands-on finance professional with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting Someone comfortable working in a growing company, where financial processes are being actively refined and optimized A finance leader who can balance strategy with execution, improving daily financial operations while planning for long-term growth Strong knowledge of Dutch tax regulations, payroll processes, and financial compliance. Experience working with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows. Fluent English. Russian at a good conversational level.
