Do you have low voltage electrical design experience? Do you want to work for a small, friendly company that looks after its employees? Salary: £48,000 to £58,000 Location: Full time office to start, once settled will drop to 3 days per week - office in Ashford, Kent. Occasional site visits. A small multi-disciplined Design, Survey and Project Management Consultancy that works on a range of infrastructure projects, primarily rail, is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to assist on Rail Station projects, among others. As a pivotal member of a multidisciplinary team, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse array of projects spanning various sectors. This position embraces hybrid work options, fostering a healthy equilibrium between professional and personal life. Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering/Environmental/Building Services Engineering HNC/HND level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent Working towards Engineering Council Registration Knowledge of engineering principles and construction industry design processes. Knowledge of current legislation and regulations e.g., Building Regulations, British Standards, etc. Experience of designing to achieve BREEAM ratings. LV design experience. Driven for progressive and continued learning. Rail experience beneficial, interest in working on rail projects essential. Software Proficiency: AutoCAD/REVIT Relux or Dialux Trimble Pro Design/Amtech (or equivalent) MEP Worx (desirable) NBS Chorus My client is eager to take someone on and can interview immediately. This will be a two stage interview process, ideally with a face-to-face meeting. This can be held at their office or met in the middle in a mutually convenient location.
