Senior Accountant

We are currently representing a well-established accountancy practice based in Rotherham, seeking a newly qualified Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP for a varied client base Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong client relationships Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and providing advice to clients Liaising with HMRC and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Identifying and implementing improvements to client processes and procedures Key Requirements: ACA/ACCA newly qualified (or equivalent) Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and UK tax laws Experience of working in a practice environment Excellent communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficiency in accounting software Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career with a reputable firm that offers great professional development opportunities and work-life balance.IPS Finance has 45 years’ experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
