Management Accountant

I am currently exclusively working with an impressive company based in the Lancaster area to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for a 3 month contract. Due to recent changes within the team the business needs additional with month end activities and management accounts. The business is in a period of growth & positive change so we are looking for someone with experience & passion to work alongside the Finance LeadThis impressive business are innovative, longstanding and offer a great team environment across all departments which makes it a great opportunity Duties include: Management of the monthly close process to produce the final Trial Balance each month to facilitate the production of the monthly management accounts in accordance with company requirements Preparation of full variance analysis for the sales, contribution and overheads compared to budget and prior year, providing explanations and understanding of variances with proposed corrective actions to get back on plan as appropriate Provide insight and analysis of all operational costs across business Support the development of performance metrics and cost information for the operations teams Assist and support the FD to manage the company stock take process ensuring an accurate and timely count with variances understood and resolved Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed each month end with all reconciling items understood and cleared on a timely basis Skills required for success: Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Attention to detail and good analytical approach Extensive experience of management accounting and controlling What's on offer Rate circa £225 per day How to apply If you think you've got what it takes to succeed, or would love to find out more information, either Hit the apply button now and follow the steps Contact Shannon McGarry Email your CV INDSCG4
