Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary for Electrical Design Engineer You will develop and design electrical systems for various high rise residential schemes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Typically taking stage 3 and 4 designs to an installed stage 5. This is an office-based position working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Key Responsibilities for Electrical Design Engineer Producing design packages, including cable calculations, schematics, layouts, and specifications for electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security systems. Coordinating design into drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with other building services. Provide electrical technical support and guidance to other team members. Participate in project meetings where necessary and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes. Requirements for Electrical Design Engineer Proven experience in electrical design engineering, within the building services sector. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
