Financial Accountant (Qualified) Slough Job Type: Full-time - 2yr FTC Salary: Competitive We are seeking a Qualified Financial Accountant to join our clients finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in handling month-end activities, supporting new projects, and providing detailed financial analysis. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct month-end activities including journal entries, report running, and KPI data analysis. Manage accounts receivable and payable reports. Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting. Support the implementation and maintenance of the new AR Portal Project. Provide operational data for decision-making processes. Review invoices, suppliers, payments, and banking transactions. Execute weekly BACS runs. Develop and enhance process documentation. Assist with ad-hoc activities and projects within the department. Required Skills & Qualifications: Finance or numerate degree, and an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a similar financial accounting role. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement. Good negotiation skills and effective communication abilities. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general PC literacy. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
