Liability Claims Handler

A Specialist liability adjusting practice seeks to strengthen its adjusting network through the appointment of an additional liability desk-adjuster/claims handler to work from their West Yorkshire base. The role will be a technical hands-on role where you handle a very varied mixed portfolio of EL and PL claims including third-party property damage risks. You will work with a variety of clients and a wide range of industries including, Construction, Engineering and Lloyd's of London; no day will be the same. The role will also involve charging for time, training will be provided if this is something you haven't done previously. There are genuine opportunities to progress and develop due to future expansion of the business, there will also be the opportunity to progress to a field adjuster role should this be something you would like to pursue. About you: An experienced Liability Claims handler/Adjuster. A background working for a Loss Adjusting practice in a similar role or for an Insurer within a Liability Claims team or working within the Legal field managing Liability claims. Experienced at managing your own caseload of EL/PL losses with a hands-on approach and within a technical capacity. Happy to work in an office environment on a hybrid basis. Industry qualifications preferred or a desire to work towards.
