Financial Controller

A Head of Finance is needed to oversee all financial aspects of a reputable not for profit organisation, ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of the institution. Client Details This is a large-scale, well-established not for profit organisation based in Richmond. Description Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organisation. Develop and execute financial strategies in alignment with the organisation's goals. Ensure financial compliance and risk management. Prepare financial reports for board meetings and stakeholder updates. Oversee the annual budgeting and planning process. Manage relationships with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations. Mentor and lead a team of Finance Department staff. Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the organisation. Profile A successful Head of Finance should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Proven experience as Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting. Proficiency in accounting software. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Offer An attractive salary range of £58,500 - £71,500 per annum.
