The Opportunity A boutique accounting firm based in London is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead the charge on corporate tax compliance and reporting. This individual will act as a key advisor within the UK business, working closely with the Head of Tax and senior finance stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Oversee the UK corporate tax compliance cycle, including preparation of returns and relationship management with HMRC Lead Group tax reporting, budgeting, and year-end tax reviews to ensure compliance and forward-planning Collaborate across finance and commercial functions to provide practical, jargon-free tax advice Support the Head of Tax in areas such as statutory audits, international tax planning, and strategic initiatives Contribute to group-level advisory work, including Controlled Foreign Company (CFC) reviews and Permanent Establishment guidance Drive development of scalable, efficient tax processes and systems ?? Ideal Candidate Profile ACA or CTA qualified, with comprehensive training in UK taxation Strong expertise in corporate and direct taxes, with a proven record of technical accuracy and sound judgment Comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams and simplifying complex concepts Embraces technology as a tool for efficiency — with bonus points for system fluency Enjoys working in dynamic environments with pace and variety Brings a leadership mindset — collaborative, confident, and forward-thinking ??
