Management Accountant - FTC

Job Title: Management Accountant (Fully Qualified) Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (9–12 Months) Location: Basingstoke / Hybrid Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Start Date: May / ASAP We’re working with a rapidly expanding on-line retailer with revenues exceeding £1 billion and an exciting roadmap ahead. With growth at the core of their strategy, the finance team is scaling to meet the evolving demands of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Management Accountant to join on a 9–12 month fixed-term basis and make a real impact. The Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering insightful financial reporting and business partnering to drive performance and accountability. You’ll bring a keen eye for detail, a commercial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Produce variance analysis with commentary against budgets and forecasts Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure integrity of financial data General ledger & balance sheet reconciliation's Track and analyse key financial KPIs and performance metrics About You Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Proven experience in a management accounting or financial reporting role Strong analytical and Excel skills; knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) advantageous Experience of improving financial and operational processes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to communicate clearly and confidently with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and open to change If you have experience as a Management Accountant and looking for a FTC, I would love to hear from you.
