Finance Director

Here at Accountable we have been retained by our client seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial reporting team, based in Liverpool city centre. As an audit trained (ACA/ACCA) accountant you will ensure robust financial controls, accurate statutory reporting, and support strategic decision-making at a senior level. Based full time at the newly refurbished Liverpool office. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial reporting (statutory, quarterly, annual) Maintain compliance and advise on accounting standards and tax matters Partner with auditors, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams Manage and develop a high-performing finance team Continuously improve financial systems and processes Requirements: ACA /ACCA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge Real estate/asset-heavy industry experience preferred Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills Strong Excel and accounting systems expertise Commercially minded with a focus on process improvement Benefits: £90-110k 25 days holiday bank holidays Pension, life assurance & EAP Gym access Stylish Liverpool city centre office
