You'll lead the design, development, and delivery of mechanical systems using your in-depth knowledge of engineering codes, CAD tools, and regulated design processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end mechanical design work, from concept to detailed delivery Apply design codes and industry standards to ensure safe and compliant solutions Deliver high-quality technical documentation, calculations, and design justifications Use computer-aided design tools to produce detailed engineering outputs Guide junior engineers and contribute to peer reviews and technical assurance Engage with stakeholders and clients to present solutions with confidence SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER - ESSENTIAL SKILLS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) Chartered or working toward Chartered status Proven experience in project engineering and mechanical design Familiarity with nuclear design codes, CAD systems, and safety-critical standards Strong understanding of the design lifecycle in high-integrity environments Experience in regulated sectors such as Nuclear, MOD, or Defence Active SC or DV Security Clearance TO BE CONSIDERED Please apply through this advert or email me directly at .
