Job Description Job Description Location : Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL Clearance : Secret Certification : CompTIA Security (Required) Job Description : We are currently looking for experienced Database Administrators (DBAs) with expertise in Oracle and SQL databases to support a military client. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of managing, optimizing, and securing databases in a high-security, mission-critical environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and performance of databases that support military operations. Key Responsibilities : Manage, maintain, and optimize both Oracle and SQL databases for government systems. Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, resolving issues as they arise. Design, implement, and support database security measures in compliance with government regulations. Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and other IT teams to design and maintain high-availability database solutions. Ensure database environments are continuously monitored for availability, security, and performance. Qualifications : Secret clearance is required. CompTIA Security certification required. 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases. Strong expertise in database backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high-availability solutions. Experience with SQL and PL/SQL scripting, Oracle RAC, and database security.
