We are seeking an experienced Facility Data Manager Subject Matter Expert (SME 3) to play a critical role in managing and optimizing facility-related data across NASA operations. This role will ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility while enhancing data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for facility data management, offering guidance on best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis. Develop and enforce data governance policies to comply with regulatory and organizational standards. Administer and optimize facility management software (CMMS) for asset tracking, maintenance scheduling, and space utilization. Conduct data audits and implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to integrate data systems and enhance reporting capabilities. Analyze facility data to identify trends and areas for operational improvement. Generate reports and dashboards to support strategic planning and informed decision-making. Provide training to facility management teams on data entry protocols , reporting tools, and system best practices. Implement and manage ETL processes and API integrations to ensure seamless data connectivity. Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational goals. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in facility data management. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Management , Information Systems , Facility Management , or a related field. 12 years of experience in facility data management or a similar role. Expertise with CMMS platforms and data analytics tools. Proficiency in ETL processes , APIs , data governance, and data quality assurance. Experience ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and maintaining high data quality standards . Strong skills in SQL , Excel , and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred). Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and support cross-functional teams . Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to facility data management. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and facility management solutions . IBM Maximo or similar asset management platform experience is a plus. ITIL or other IT Service Management framework familiarity.
