Job Description Job Description Position Title: Civil Project Manager Location: Akron, Ohio - Relocation Assistance provided if needed Duration: Full Time, Direct Hire Compensation: $100,000-$120,000/Year Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a Civil Project Manager to join their Akron, OH office. This role involves managing projects from start to finish, including design, proposal preparation, and developing reports and specifications. The engineer will coordinate with clients and support staff to ensure projects are compliant and completed on time. Most designs will be done in AutoCAD, accompanied by detailed technical reports. The projects will mainly focus on site/civil work, such as stormwater systems, distribution/collection systems, pump/lift stations, and water/wastewater treatment plants. Additional duties include developing construction cost estimates, coordinating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and mentoring junior staff. Required Skills & Experience A bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, structural, environmental, geotechnical, or a related field). A PE License, or an EIT planning to take the PE exam within the next 6 months. 4-6 years of engineering design experience, particularly in stormwater management, sewer systems, and pump stations. Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience in designing water or wastewater treatment facilities. Project management experience. Experience working with a consulting firm. Experience mentoring junior engineers.
