Job Description Job Description Volt is immediately hiring an Engineering Technician with a well-known industry leader in Maplewood, MN. In this role you will assist scientists and engineers in the laboratory . This is a first shift position. As an Engineering Technician you will: Perform testing and record data on products and raw materials using defined test methods Use computer software to analyze data, summarize conclusions, and complete documentation Prepare, operate, and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and lab equipment Independently carry out tasks and tests Perform routine lab duties including storing of samples, inventory of supplies and chemicals, and other typical lab tasks Train others as needed on sample preparations, test methods, and lab protocols Estimated Duration up to 24 months. The ideal candidate will have: BS or BA from an accredited university Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience OR Two-year associate degree with 2 years of laboratory experience Analytical and curious mindset to understand data trends and solve problems Basic understanding of CAD software; SolidWorks preferred Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) Hands on skills in a shop environment Detail oriented Pay Rate: $26.71 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration Please hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.
