Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in Telemetry/Medsurg with more than 1 year of cardiac drips and EKG experience License: Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal Certifications: Required - BLS, NIH; Preferred - ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to float as needed - Flexibility for weekend coverage every other week - Willingness to adapt to varying patient ratios: Days (1:5) / Nights (1:6) - Completion of 8-hour orientation Job Description: - Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting. - Administer and monitor cardiac drips and EKGs. - Utilize Epic software for patient record management. - Participate in weekend rotations and support team efforts by floating when required. - Uphold certification requirements, including maintaining current BLS and NIH certifications, with a preference for ACLS. - Ensure professional development by working in compliance with facility procedures and guidelines. - Accommodate travel compliance with a minimum distance requirement from the facility. - Engage in all mandatory health requirements, including COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, unless a medical or religious exemption applies.
